Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BIKE TAXI AND BIKE POOL?
Tuwheelz offers two different type of services namely Bike Taxi service and Bike Pool. All Bike Taxi rides are insured rides and driver partners servicing these rides have gone through a series of trainings and background verification process.
On the other hand Bike Pool is a peer to peer service in which Tuwheelz acts as a mere facilitator to connect people who want to offer Bike Pool to people who want to get a Bike pool ride. Tuwheelz does not charge any fees from either parties for this service. Also no wallet transaction is involved in Bike Pool, cash payments are directly made between two peers involved in Bike pool.

Q: WHICH ARE THE AREAS WHERE TUWHEELZ BIKE TAXI SERVICE IS OPERATIONAL?
Bike Taxis are currently available in Gurgaon. We are gearing up to launch Bike Taxis in other parts of India as soon as possible. Tuwheelz Bike Pool service is a peer to peer service which can be used outside Gurgaon as well.

Q: IS REGISTRATION MANDATORY TO USE TUWHEELZ?
A: Yes, user sign up is mandatory to use Tuwheelz service. It is essential to provide correct contact details while signing up. Tuwheelz and Tuwheelz partner drivers may contact you on your phone/email for your ride related alerts and information.

Q: CAN I BOOK A RIDE FOR A LATER TIME/DATE?
A: Tuwheelz is an on-demand bike ride service, we match real time bike supply and demand to provide bike ride to willing riders. We do not accept bookings for future date/time.


Q: HOW DOES TUWHEELZ ENSURE A RIDER’S SAFETY?
A: Rider and Biker’s safety is of prime concern to Tuwheelz.
• Bike Taxi Drivers are duly authorized & verified by the Transport Authorities and local Police.
• Bike Taxi Drivers are given training on safe driving.
• Rider is insured for the duration of his Tuwheelz ride.
• SOS button in Rider app.
• Speed alerts and alarms in driver app.
• Helmet mandatory for rider and biker.
• Real time ride tracking option provided to Rider’s trusted contacts.
• Head mesh would be provided to every rider to ensure a clean and hygienic ride every time someone rides a Tuwheelz.

Q: HOW DO I BOOK A RIDE ?
Download the app from Google Play Store and sign up. Check for nearest BIKES on the booking page and click on ‘TICK’ upon finding a suitable ride. After the booking, you will receive the BIKER and bike details. Use them to locate and connect with the BIKER and ride away. Ask the BIKER for the helmet and safety precautions. Upon completion of the ride, pay by cash or wallet.

Q: WHAT IS LONG DISTANCE (LD) SURCHARGE?
In order to motivate and compensate bikers to accept long distance rides, we apply a surcharge on such rides. This surcharge is applied on kilometers exceeding a threshold level defined for the city. For example, In Gurgaon, we have set that threshold 10 Km. If you take ride of 12 Km, then we apply surcharge of Rs 3/Km on last 2 Kms only.

Q: WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT CHANNELS AVAILABLE?
Currently payment through Cash and Tuwheelz Wallet both are available.

Q: HOW MUCH TIME WILL IT TAKE FOR MY RIDE TO COME?
Any online request will need to be matched by an accepting biker who is in the 4-Km radius of your location. The actual ETA will be displayed in the app at the time of booking itself based on traffic estimate and distance. If there is no biker within your 4 Km radius, you won’t have an option to book. However, we are populating enough bikers to ensure the availability especially in peak hours.

Q: WHAT IF I SEE NO RIDE AVAILABLE?
This means that the demand in your area has surpassed the supply for the selected service type. Please try other service types available in your area.
